Meet Our Doctors
	Dr Jean-Pierre Truong, DMD When Dr Truong is asked why he became a dentist, he simply answers "because it fits me". Dr Truong earned with high honors his DMD degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Prior to entering dentistry, Dr Truong was involved in scientific research with some of the most prestigious medical facilities such as, the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, the pathology department at the University of Washington, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center of Seattle. Dr. Truong is committed to continuous training in education and cutting-edge procedures. He takes pride in his work, does it with integrity, and only accepts the best.
	Dr Lisa Vu, DMD PMH Dr. Lisa Vu is a board certified general dentist native to Texas. Her passion for dentistry began while serving Houston’s homeless population. After earning her M.P.H. at the University of Texas School of Public Health and D.M.D. at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, she can tackle problems using two different perspectives. She is able to promote oral health and deliver compassionate care for an individual and use research methods to identify needs and solutions for a community. As clinical faculty for University of Texas School of Dentistry, she provides mentorship to dental students rotating at TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries. She is a member of the ADA, GHDS, and TDA and is certified in level one conscious sedation and laser dentistry. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking.
	Dr Janice Nguyen, DMD PMH Dr. Janice Nguyen graduated University of St. Thomas with a bachelor degree in Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies, she also double minored in Biology and Theology. She then went on and completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine with a focus in public health dentistry from Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Outside of clinical dentistry, Janice has also participated in research concerning oral health in patients with movement disorders. She has organized and participated in various dental service events in her community to help increase awareness of the importance of dental health. In addition, Janice works directly with dental students as an adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. She also volunteers at Healthcare for the Homeless Houston Dental Clinic to further contribute to her community.
